Here’s the news — Quickchat AI users now have access to our brand-new UI! If you don’t have your own account yet, here’s a sneak peek (psst…register here to experience the new look yourself):
This is just the first version of our fresh new layout. And while we’re gearing up for even more updates, you can already enjoy:
- New AI Assistant picker
- Refreshed AI Preview
- Redesigned Settings for easier customization
- Redesigned sidebar with different feature categorization logic
Let’s take a closer look at that last point.
Quickchat AI was built with a simple goal in mind (at least simple to express, not necessarily simple to reach) to let you make your own custom ChatGPT for various business use cases. We leveraged state-of-the-art Large Language Models and built retrieval systems capable of tapping into your company’s knowledge — from documentation to FAQs — to generate a great final response that satisfies the user’s need.
Internally, we call it the chapter of what’s now commonly known as RAG chatbots, but it’s hard not to spot a new wave on the horizon.
AI Agents.
AI Agents are far more than just question-answering tools. They are evolving into autonomous systems — essentially, AI employees — that can handle tasks from start to finish. Just like a human would.
It could range from simple tasks, like scheduling a meeting based on participants’ availability and sending out reading materials in advance, to more complex ones, such as interviewing a customer to understand their needs, creating a personalized product recommendation, guiding them through checkout, and completing the transaction — all without needing any support from your team.
In the past, companies needed — in the right order — an email, a website, and a social media account not just to thrive, but merely to survive in the digital age. And that stream of technological evolution hasn’t stopped.
We believe that AI Agents are the next major milestone. Every company’s workforce will be a combination of human and AI employees. Companies that don’t adopt it will be outcompeted by those that do, thanks to efficiency gains across every part of their business.
Our technological roadmap reflects this trend to fullfil our mission — that, for a change, is still the same — to give you every tool needed to succeed in the AI Age.
Meaning, Quickchat’s new interface was designed to let you customize every aspect of your AI Agent:
- Identity: How it behaves, speaks, and interacts
- Knowledge Sources: What do you want it to know and share in conversations with users
- Capabilities: What actions can it do beyond having conversations like collect leads or interact with external systems
- Channels: Where your users can interact with your AI Agent, like websites or messaging apps
This is just the start of what’s coming.
We’re also hard at work on conversation analytics to provide you with both quantitative and qualitative insights — such as ways to improve your product or service based on customer interactions, and trends that help spot early bugs or product defects.
In the meantime, if you have any suggestions, don’t hesitate to share them with us at [email protected].
